As a broker
We connect shippers with qualified third-party carriers and integrate outside capacity into your program.
DirectXpress (DX) is a technology-driven transportation company operating a hybrid model: self-operated capacity, vetted third-party capacity, and a digital platform that manages both as one network.
DirectXpress holds both freight broker qualifications and motor carrier MC / USDOT authority. As a broker, we arrange transportation and connect shippers with third-party carriers. As a carrier, we run our own trucks and drivers and complete the delivery ourselves.
That dual identity is deliberate. A pure brokerage can source trucks but cannot guarantee how the job is done. A pure carrier controls quality but runs out of capacity. Operating both gives us control over critical lanes, regions, transit times, service quality and exception handling — while still scaling with a national network.
We connect shippers with qualified third-party carriers and integrate outside capacity into your program.
We move freight with our own vehicles and drivers, taking direct responsibility for performance.
We manage both capacity types digitally, from quote through settlement, on one shared record.
Three components that only work well together. Take one away and you get the freight experience most shippers complain about.
Our own trucks and drivers on core lanes, critical regions and time-sensitive work.
Vetted partner carriers and LTL networks extend coverage nationwide without service cliffs.
One platform unifying dispatch, tracking, documentation and billing across both.
Performance data feeds route design, pricing and where we add our own capacity next.
We would rather be the best option for a specific kind of freight than an average option for all of it.
26–53 ft box and straight trucks running palletized freight, B2B delivery, commercial and residential drops, milk runs, hot shots and store restocks.
Less-than-truckload service across the country through partner LTL carriers and our own digital network, managed under a single account.
Brokered or self-operated, the shipment stays our responsibility. We do not forward you to someone else’s support queue.
We concentrate volume into repeatable routes, because density is what makes heavy freight affordable and predictable.
Photos, signatures, counts and timestamps on every stop — the fastest way to end a dispute is to have the record.
Whether you need one difficult lane covered or a full regional distribution plan, we will tell you honestly what we can run today and what we would build for you.Same-day and final mile run in our active operating regions; nationwide LTL is available across the country. Send your lanes and we will confirm coverage and transit.
